I do as well, picked mine up at a pawn shop for $300, I wouldn't hesitate to pick this at 375 if I didn't already have one. Best tool I own aside from the one behind the zipper.

Bump, anybody have anything they working on.

I ripped down some boards this AM to start a garbage can holder that my wife wants. Sold a hall tree bench today for $275 and have an order for 3 more. I need to find some solid shutters/cabinet doors to make them or build some cabinet doors. I've never made any, it would be the first time.

Been doing very little on the camp itself. Been clearing a right away for power lines. I will be putting up a temp power pole today. The power company should be installing the line this week.

A good Dado blade and router can do a good job building doors.

I have a little trim router and a dado stack. A big router is something I need. I have a decent little wood shop, but that's one thing I really need.

Check craigslist. A good one can be found for $100.

Router door and panel bits is what you need. Need to build you a router table to use them though. I have one but the big router I use in it has a cheaply made base and I need to replace it. It's a dewalt router and not a cheap one.

Main thing you need for a router table (besides the router) is a good base plate.

A coworker of mine actually gave me a small router table. I stop in at pawn shops and check CL quite often, people think their stuff is brand new and made of gold. Every now and again I do run across some deals though.

What are you planning to build? I'm needing to build one but would like something a little more than a wooden box. Just trying to get some ideas.

I build these and sell them, the last one is mine.

Normally I buy old wooden shutters/doors. But they are getting harder and harder to find.

I made this. It's a wall piece that you can pictures from, a shelf, and some coat hooks. Made from an old cypress swing that the frame rotted out on.

Update on this from a few pages back, roof rack build for a camper shell to put kayaks on top. Finished up the mounting brackets today, 12 total. I have some 1/8" thick rubber sheet that I'm going to cut washers out of to out between the mount/shell to keep it sealed. The baw in my couldn't resist atleast some LED lights so I put 4 LED flood lights, 2 per side to be used when rigging in the dark, and of course these will be turned on day or night when I'm driving. I bought 2 rollers but I'm unsure if I'll use them, I'm going to put the top on the truck and see how loading/unloading is without them then go from there. I want to build something inside to hang rod/reels but I'm still trying to decide on a direction to go.

For you rods and reels. You can use a 1x3 or 1x4 and cut a 1 - 1.5" hole every 4" on center for a front support.

Back support use the same and maybe add a bungee cord to hold the rods secure. Staple bungee on top or bottom and just have pressure on the rod handle.

May need the holes wider than that. Just need to play with it I guess.
