Had to put up a small privacy fence in between my house and carport. Sucked that I had to cut down a 30' evergreen tree.
shite started dying on me.

All the lumber came off my sawmill but the lattices work.
I did do a little work on that bench I built. Had some left over stain that I used on the vanity, so why not.
I did spray on the first coat of spar varnish. Looking at 3 or 4 more.

In college I designed and almost finished a little 14' flats boat, thinking it would be cheaper to build than buy one. After four years, two garages, a storage unit, and royally screwing the epoxy up, I decided to give it away for free instead of moving it with me back to LA to finish it.
Learned a lot of ways you shouldn't build a boat and lay glass down, and the new garage is plenty big enough for a larger build this year anyways.

Built another one of these. I have it for sale on FB.
Where would one find that? Trying to fill a space that that looks good for.

Very nice. Unfortunately I won't have the height. Would love to have that loft space.

I live in Raceland and make them on my free time, which hasn't been a lot lately. I sold that one for $250. If I'm free this weekend I will make a run to NOLA to look for some more cabinet doors. I have an order for 1 right now that I need to get out.

You going to like that high peak when it's balls hot in the summer.

Chedballz, is that all one piece? Or is the bottom bench part separate from the cabinet door part?

I have some vents I'm gonna put in the floor to help with air circulation. And maybe add one on the front and back also.

It's 2 separate pieces.
The cabinet doors are joined with a 1x6 on the back at the top that I ripped on a 45 to make a French cleat. The other half of the 1x6 attaches to the wall. That is what holds up the wall panel. I also have a strip on the bottom of the back panel to make it parallel with the wall and hold the bottom of the panel together.
The bottom cubby hole section is 3/4" Birch plywood, all dado joints that are screwed and glued together then I edge band them to give it a solid wood look.
The backer board is just some 1/4" Luan plywood.
The bench and shelve are construction grade pine that I planed, sanded, stained and put 3 coats of poly on.
Hardware comes from Hobby Lobby, they have a good selection and they don't want an arm, a leg and a first born child like the antique shops.
Paint is old white chalk paint, 2 coats then waxed with Johnsons Paste Wax, wife mixes in a little stain with the wax to make it a little darker.
