I bought a bag at FS Williams $12.00 for peanut butter. The hogs loved it. I put it out in three locations and the deer never got close. Next morning hardly a trace left.....all hogs.
Don't think I'll buy it again.

I was going to tell you about this thread but looks like you found it on your own.
To everyone else, I haven't used it but know many people who have. Nate was married to my cousin and she and his other family members are keeping his dream alive by producing and selling Nate's Buck Bait. If y'all use it, please put your experience on here as I'm sure the family will appreciate the feedback. Thanks guys!

I see they are selling it in Woodville now. Have several friends that hunt that area and they say it brings the wildlife in. May try and remember to get a sack

So what color is this stuff? Is it white like rice bran or yellow like corn, or does it kind of blend in with the ground? Just wondering if someone would be able to see it easily if they walked pretty close to it.

Was clowning around with the OP in the other thread but in all seriousness we have found all the flavors, with the exception of the peanut butter, to work well.
We have bran feeders at all of our mineral sites and normally keep theme full with regular old rice bran year round.
We put out some of this stuff at those spots where the deer weren't hitting the bran and they did mow the NBB down. It didn't bring in any bucks we didn't already know were around but they did prefer it over the regular bran in those cases.
At the sites where the deer were eating the bran they consumed the NBB equally.
The fancy over priced crap they market to hunters in the pretty packaging seems to be overwhelming (smell) at times and actually keeps deer away instead of bringing them in to eat to get that additional nutrition supplemental attractants should provide.

In North La we have Delta Magic. It's great stuff, comes in 10lb pellets or 1lb powder. I use a 3rd of a bag pellets in my corn and 1 bag of powder in my ricebran. They were eating everything I put out when others weren't getting any action because of acorns. He makes cinnamon, vanilla, Carmel, green apple and peanut butter. It's by far the best stuff I have seen. We have sold around 500 bags so far. Everyone is getting more buck pictures after they use this stuff.

Anywhere to get this Nick's around Rankin or Madison Co. Mississippi?

I get mine up from that little feed store on 61 in St. Francisville.
I'm going to the coop later. I'll ask if they have or can order some.

It's hilarious that guys pay that kind of money for something they can get the same results out of for $6.95 for 50 lbs. at our place, rice bran disappears as fast as all the souped up , $20 bags.
As to drawing in more bucks, that's silly. Bucks are are going to eat it if they find it. Our problem is they only eat it at night but that will change soon.
Marketing is a science! Nate knew what he was doing.

They arnt touching rice bran at our place, but are destroying the NBB, I would say he apparently did know what he was doing.

Not that I would ever do it, but if you have a sandy creek bed by a stand you could just dig out a hole in the sand and put the rice bran or NBB in it and it would blend it pretty good.
To answer his question though its about the same color of rice bran so its probably hard to hide unless you get creative.
