Are you happy with your purchase and would you buy it again? I have watched a few of the unboxing videos on youtube, and it looks like a fun way to get lures at a discount. My only gripe from the videos would be some of their lures are a lot larger than i prefer (1oz).

I got mystery tackle box as a gift for a few months. It was fun to get them but overall I didn’t find myself using the stuff. It’s hard to put together a box that’s applicable to any one area. My money was better spent just buying the stuff I actually wanted.

I have too much tackle I already don't use. I don't need more sent to my house.

My wife wanted to buy a membership for me for my birthday. These are the exact things I told her as reasons why she shouldn’t get it for me.

Mystery tackle boxes, like most tackle, is primarily designed to catch fishermen

IMO, it is too much of a crap shoot for an old dog like me. As another poster has stated, I have too much tackle I don't use as it is. I think if you are just starting out as an avid or serious fisherman, it may be worth it, otherwise not so much. In any event, you're likely to get more stuff you don't use than otherwise.

It's kind of a catch 22. My wife loves to gift me fishing related things for birthdays or Christmas, etc. But then never wants me to go fishing to actually use the stuff.

The mystery that is a woman.

Same issue.

That's what it turns into. I had it for about 9 months and cancelled it.

Out of all the boxes and baits I received, there's one bait I've tried and bought more of.

I exaggerate. It’s not really that big of an issue. Only sometimes.

I just upgraded from a kayak to a little jon boat so now my gf can go with me. No excuses now.

Got it for my son for a year. Fun for him to build a tackle box. He would try it all in the neighborhood lake and see what worked. Agree with everyone else though, if you have your basics covered already, it really doesn't make much sense to get.

I did the same thing last year (didn't upgrade from a yak, just bought a little jon boat) and my girlfriend loves to come fishing with me, and I enjoy her company, so it works out.

As far as those tackle box packages, I feel like the money would be better spent buying exactly what you want, rather than some random lures that will just take up space and cause me to get a bigger tackle bag than the one I already have.

I've had it for 3 months now, the only thing I've used more than once is a chatterbait that was in the first box.

It was great for my kids for a year, It really made them work on skills that they didn't have, and introduced them to a few new techniques. Now they have a food base to work off of and are realizing that they may need x# of packs of a certain lizard rather than spy baits.
