I'll give it this... It brought me over 25 miles back to the launch on 4 cylinders and didn't leave me stranded. When I saw the white smoke I knew I was fkd. It died as I coasted to the dock, no b/s.

That’s not a bad deal on the 13’ 4 stroke. Did you check weights? That 4 stroke block weighs a decent amount more than the 2 stroke block. I want to say your in the 540 lbs range with the 225.

A 250 SHO is 505 lbs dry so not much different. The only reservations I would have about one of those are the ceramic lined cylinder walls. As far as I know if you lose a rod and mess up a cylinder the entire powerhead has to be replaced since there are no sleeves you can replace.

Damn that’s crazy, I figured the 4 stroke would weigh more than an old smoke stroke.

i have a 2017 yamaha 250 sho with trp lower unit that i am selling. 3 hr on motor, nothing wrong with it. I just bought a boat that has this motor on it & I'm sponsored by merury, that is why i am selling it. motor has never been registered so buyer will have full factory warranty as the buyer will be the original owner. Digital gauges, cables, controls are all included. 21k if you are interested.

Should be a rocket w sho and make gas like a yeti makes ice.

They do good work, also look up Joe Eskind or JJ Lirette on FB. Both are good Outboard Mechanics out of Houma area.
