Just had a little family get together for a crawfish boil and I've never seen so many large crawfish in my life. I asked my nephew, who lives in Louisiana, where he got those monsters and he said he actually brought them here in Mobile. He said the guy asked him if he wanted the Louisiana farm raised or the wild ones and he got the wild ones. I've eaten a lot of crawfish in my lifetime, but these were largest crawfish I've ever seen no question! Out of 50 pounds of crawfish, I saw maybe 5 small ones. I hope this continues because I'm thinking about getting me some more next weekend!

My advice, buy the medium grade crawfish and thank me later.

That's good to hear.

I bought some about 10 days ago, and they weren't big at all.

This is my third day in a row at crawfish boils and they've all been pretty satisfying, especially since we didn't get nearly as many last year.

I bought 10lbs Friday in Dutchtown, we’re pretty decent size. $50 for 10lbs hurt my heart, but it was trading material. You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes

In my opinion, crawfish were not very big or plentiful last year. May we'll have a great season this year and also have some decent prices! All I have to do now is pick me a good beer to help wash it all down!

I had a blue one in the ones I got yesterday. Wild out the spill way. All big.

My neighbor did a sack yesterday and they were all tiny. I’m not sure where they were from though.
