After getting beat to the spot we had planned on public opening morning, we decided to ditch the crowds and go hunt private. Had some close calls opening morning, and ended up killing one Saturday. The rain messed us up Sunday, but we were able to seal the deal on another one yesterday. It was a great turkey weekend for us, despite the weather.

First hunt with the ebike.

Was on his arse like white on rice.

These things are scary effective.

Just get a swivel mount and chase them down and shoot on the move.

Seriously though, for all the fret, I expect turkeys like all other game start to learn the signs of hunting pressure over time and adjust to the annual influx of ebikes.

Nice bird. Turkey hunting is truly the best.

I just bought the handlebar mounted full body strutter for it today. Gonna take the fight to the birds next hunt.

It's basically jousting, but with spurs vs. #9 tss.

Good bird… I’m north of liberty about 15 miles. The turkeys were everywhere a few weeks and now they are proving to be quite elusive.
