If you’re looking to upgrade Jenson USA has some amazing deals right now. I just got a Rocky Mountain Growler for $1,400, retails for $1,800.

I’ve had a Specialized Rockhopper for the past year, decent bike but not as aggressive as I wanted and couldn’t push it very hard on downhills. Looking forward to actually being able to shred.

We don't have downhills here... or uphills... my specialized doesn't have a suspension...

Jenson is always running deals of bikes but they seem to always have the best deal on the smallest or largest frames and I almost always need a medium.

Haha where you at? I stuck with a hard tail because of the climbs up here in the Ozarks.

Didn't you break your shoulder or some shite last year? Now you've upgraded and you're going to send it again!

Hell yeah brother, broke my elbow but got a full season in last year on the Rockhopper after I healed up. It’s too tame though! The Growler is a downhill ripper, I wanna go fast.

That’s a good bike. You may want a 27.5 though, 26 is pretty small for modern bikes.

Nice, looks like Giant has the ‘22s marked down right now by about $300.

I’m doing direct to consumer and then taking it to my local bike shop to have them put it together. Getting delivered today!

Growler is an absolute ripper, took it out for the first time today and was shredding the downhills. First time having a dropper post and now I see what all the hype was about. Made the climbs in the middle of the trails so much easier.

I live in upstate SC. Some pretty decent trails around here. Especially in western NC. I bought a Stumpjumper 1 year and a half ago and I love it. I have a trek Roscoe hard tail as well. It’s a sweet bike. I have only upgraded the grips and pedals so far. Was gonna wait until something breaks. I did replace one derailed with an upgrade after I snapped it off

My Roscoe is a 27.5 mid fat tires and the Stumpjumper is a 29er. I’m amazed in the difference. Not sure which I prefer tho

My Roscoe

I recently picked up a roscoe 7 with 27.5+ tires and have really enjoyed it. Of course I’m stepping up from an old giant talon with 26” tires and there are certainly no mountains in central MS. I’ve had the opportunity to ride some full suspension bikes in Montana and Colorado and they were a blast on those downhill trails.

Nice, still working my way up to a dual suspension. Not there yet, trying to progress slowly. Learned my lesson last year.

27.5 for me. I’m not a huge fan of the 29ers at all. I feel like I have less control and lose speed riding that tire size, but maybe that’s just me.

Check out Tsali Cycles in Bryson City. They’re an excellent local shop just outside of the trails in Cherokee. Which if you haven’t had the chance to ride, I highly recommend. Very nice single track that very rarely is crowded.
