looking for the best non-safety toe that is both light and comfortable. The old Georgia's I wore are discontinued and I switched to thorogood wedge soles and now they aren't available. What yall got? Id prefer a wedge sole and I've looked at a few but cant find any locally to try on other than Ariat. Not a fan

I've been wearing Redwings for 20 years and have always loved them. I started with the lace up and am now in a Wellington. Go to the Red wings store and get fitted. Well worth the few extra bucks.

Not sure on wedge sole as most plants require a defined heel. I have Justin’s and Ariat. They are both comfortable. Mine came from the boot store by Cortana mall.

Georgia boots. Rancher to be specific. I am on my second pair that I got last Christmas. I had my first pair for over 10 years. Granted I wasn't very hard on them and just used them feeding horses and getting out in the mud or just for casual wear with jeans.

My Current Boots

I love them.

I second these. I put some silicone water repellant on them when I first bought them and that darkened them up. I wore them for 6 years and 2 soles before my jeans wore a hole in them. I sadly let them go last month.

I’ll be buying another pair soon if someone doesn’t give me a pair for Christmas.

I’ve been wearing those for 30 years and man hey are comfortable and break in nicely. Wish the did make a darker pair but you’re right, saddle soap them down and they darken a bit.

I also have a pair of Red Wings because at one time I wanted the darker boot and they take forever to break in.

I've been wearing some pull on Justin's for the last couple of years. Work on large industrial construction sites so will walk 5-10 miles in a day. Liked them so much I bought with and with out steel toe. Tried Red Wing and Wolverine prior. I think the best brand for you will really depend on your foot. Definitely make sure your boots are made in the USA.

I prefer RedWings but walked out with a pair of Irish Setters last time I went to the Redwing store. I’ve been very happy with my decision.

I have some Wolverines 1000 miles that are 5 years old and probably have close to 1000 miles on them. They fit me well and I have been happy with them.

I won a pair of Russell moccasin custom made boots. I had to send in a sheet with measurements and foot outlines, and wait 4 months, but out the box, they were the best fitting boots I have ever owned and they aren't even broken in well yet.
