Where the frick is Jack Miller's? If you're talking about the Ville Platte area, its Miller's Lake. Not Jack Miller's. Jack Miller's is a BBQ sauce.

Do you even bayou sorrel

Southwest of plaquemine. It’s the gateway to the 8th and 9th wonders of the world known as bayou sorrel and bayou pigeon.

Is this a landlocked/gated off private pond, or one of the millions with a sign on a tree in a navigable waterway
From what I understand through my conversation with this guy, the pond in question is landlocked all the time. BUT they have no proof that he was fishing that pond, so kudos to the kid for the catch of a lifetime until someone comes up with some proof.

But...wouldn't his saying "they have no proof I did it" kind of be an admittance of guilt?
Edit: After reading your earlier post, I see you are talking about someone involved with the pond, not the fisherman in questions. Disregard and carry on.

yeah, this guy is going to get fricked because the marina wanted their name associated with the photo
It's interesting the dichotomy of the board being displayed in this thread.
If this was someone suspected of trespassing after killing a large deer, the entirety of the posts would be all for stringing the guy up in the public square.
This kid may have caught a fish in a privately owned and stocked pond, and a fair amount of folks are saying "catch of a lifetime, give the kid a break."
Death to trespassers...unless they're fishing?

I was told that those 2 ponds aren't the ones in question. He said this one is landlocked all the time no matter the water level.

Or how about innocent until proven guilty. Ever heard of that?

Did I say I thought this fisherman was guilty of trespassing?
My post wasn't about guilt or innocence, it was about the board's attitude concerning even the hint of trespassing.

If you are basing your opinion of the boards reaction to trespassing for hunting off of fishfighters thread a few days back, that is a totally different critter. He actually had photos of the guy/gal on his place.
Nobody has shown any evidence that this guy caught the fish on private property, not on the OB at least.

If he drove his boat down a navigable waterway and caught a fish where someone slapped a private sign on a tree, my give a shite meter is broken

Don't worry about Alx. That cuck lives in CENLA and doesn't have a dog in this fight.
