Conditions aren't that bad, with no wind they should wreck em once the water warms up some

Stephen Browning is fishing in my hole :) That's where I always go in the spring, there's a creek running out of the woods and it hugs the north bank so it's always calm in winter conditions.

he needs to move out of the flat behind him

The water warms up quicker over there - the fish I posted the pics of all came out of there

They need to put the weightless senko on and get out in the grass

Chris Lane and a couple others I didn’t recognize have fished my parents dock. Everybody had wacky senkos on.

It’s like someone said something lol.

Last I saw he was just live imaging the bridge/channel at Stowe creek. Caught a 4 pounder that way.

“The Puma” gave the lake breakdown this morning and said it would be a grinder and you had to be patient. He grinded hard without a fish for a long time and ended up closing strong. Hat tip to him for a strong Day 1 in tough conditions

What are the boundaries? Are they letting them fish up little Darbonne past Gill’s ? How far up Corney can they fish?

I asked one of the MLF camera guys this morning at the launch and he said they could go as far as they wanted up Corney, darbonne, and Cleo. Basically no boundaries.

But I didn’t see anyone go too far beyond channel markings on any given creek.

Agree. I’ve never heard of the place but they must expect good fish to be caught.

Have enjoyed it thus far.

Bussey

Bussy Break was around when I was a kid (I remember the name but never fished it) seems like they drained it and re built it in the past five years.

I think it's in the rotation to get some publicity
Bussey Brake renovation project hit snags but is ongoing

Here's an article about it: LINK /

Caney…

I remember a morning there when the late Dana Walker and Brian Velvick weighed 5 fish at Brown’s that went over 50 pounds.

It was an unreal fishery.
