I just drove from Northern Ohio to Baton Rouge.
Every river that I crossed is flooding. Ohio was covered in water in the fields and everywhere.

We definitely got a big pulse coming and every single bit of it has to squeeze in the Mississippi

I'm in Northern Indiana (South bend area) and in the Goshen and Elkhart areas we just had historic flooding. News stations up here call it a 500 year flood. It was devastating. Just as the waters were receding earlier this week we got another two inches yesterday and it's saturated again. All this shite will eventually make its way south.

I worry that those estimates for late March downstream on the Mississippi are going to go up in the coming days.

The Mississippi River forecast for crest at BTR of 42.5 is for two weeks out. Could go higher after that. Not that I'm hoping for that...
