Any magic fix to remove the film?

Have tried ammonia, vinegar, glass cleaners, acetone, alcohol, Dawn, Magic Eraser, etc.

All it does is smear it around…..

Any ideas???

Try a heat gun yet? Some good old GooGone or Ronsonol lighter fluid may work.

I’d call an auto window tinting place and ask them.

Some of those YouTube detailers have some good techniques to clean the inside of windshields, especially the Adam’s Polishes or Chemical Guy’s…

Sprayway Glass Cleaner and newspaper…what’s the origin of the vinyl film. I first read this as the normal funk that builds up inside the windshield

Sprayway

If in the BTR area, go to Advanced Windshield, they’ll have something to clean it! On Jones Creek.

brake cleaner will take it off. I would spray it on a rag and not directly on the glass.
