Took my 4 year old godson crabbing yesterday b/c of your thread. Had a blast and he even caught his first redfish. We set the nets along the bayou and ran them with the trolling motor while casting lines. Lots of action to keep him occupied.

We had a couple lake runners that went 10", most of them were about 7-8 1/2". I like them on the bone, my wife prefers them filleted.

YW Baw, that's why I like crabbing so much. Lots of action and you almost always catch. I cut the heads off all these perch to use for crab bait.
