Starts at - 7:30 am Lake Eufaula Alabama

Last year the first few rounds were good before the dink fest started, should be some pre spawn hogs caught.

Minimum score able bass for this event is 2lbs so that will help somewhat to eliminate the dink fest.

Not many numbers, (2# min related) but quality of fish has been good. Lots of 5+ being caught.

I grew up fishing Eufaula and you are correct, great lake for 5 lb plus fish when there is abundant grass.

Back in it's heyday Pop weighed in a stringer of 6 fish(7 fish limit at that time) that weighed just shy of 48 lbs. He had two break off, one WELL over 10 lbs. Didn't leave a whole lot of room in that Ranger's livewell.

So yeah.... in spring, on Eufaula, you best be ready to have yo line stretched.

Looks like we did better than the many of the pro's on Eufaula today from perusing the results Absolutely crossed their eyeballs on south end of the lake in pure Eufaula early spring form. Not sure why so many of them didn't make the run to the cleaner water on south end of the lake. #LedgeFishing

ETA: Group A results. The lake hasn't really shown itself yet due to the rough conditions with all the rain and muddy water, but my bet is Mon-Wed rounds will be a fireworks show

Group A Final Results:

FTR if I ever had to fish with Iaconelli I'd have to throw him out of the boat as a service to all normal bass fisherman and wildlife's ears anywhere he catches a good fish.

That said he needs to get back down the lake and away from my spot.

If Jordan Lee is fishing where I think he is he can potentially run away with this thing if the fish are that far along yet.
The flood waters that have pushed down are really setting his area up to win going away...IF they have gone in there

How is Jason Lambert doing? (Or is he even fishing in this tournament?)

My in-laws know him and he sent my son some stuff and then post my son wearing one of the shirts on his Instagram page. My son was ecstatic.

What a time to find a pile of fish in one spot! Wheeler has had the spot lock on for the last hour+ and has almost caught a fish every cast.

Where he's fishing isn't any secret to locals by any means, but he just made that spot public to a whole lot of people It'll look like a Walmart parking lot come Saturday

Wheeler @ 63-01 with 37min to go
