The nearshore rigs off the Terrebonne Parish coast are smoking-hot right now, delivering plenty of speckled trout limits for charter captains and weekend anglers leaving out of Cocodrie, Dulac and Dularge.

Hopefully the internet fisherman go there this weekend and leave Grand Isle alone.

Why in the hell couldn't they have done a feature on Lake P or Hopedale?

I guess the armada will be out in force this weekend.

I've been fishing in the afternoon lately to try and hide from the crowds. It's worked out well for me.

There are no fish at Mardi gras, pickets or enstar. Everything is at sulphur mine and behind island. Waters to west are very muddy, rock port rattlers will be no use.
