So you will be purchasing the gun here? And then leaving it in VA?

Most likely I will purchase it in LA... but It is possible that I may buy it in VA

I know my Unlce is a LA resident and bought a gun in VA while they were up here for Christmas

A few other questions...

Polymer frame? Metal frame?

Compact? Subcompact? Full sized?

And I know you mentioned this briefly earlier but dedicated CC, dedicated HD, or both?

clip fed weapons can hold more rounds though and reloaded faster, but they jam.

I personally think they're the best handgun platform. I like the way they feel, look, and shoot. Their ergonomics are excellent. The design has been around forever, because it works and is reliable.

...basically since oh....1911.

No...the G.A.P. round is pretty worthless and ammo is expensive and hard to find.

If you can keep it locked up, i just bought a Ruger LCP revolver. I love it, easy to carry and just point and shoot. No safety, no guessing, no jamming.
