17’-19’, four stroke, center console, for freshwater and occasional inshore saltwater fishing. Any recommendations? G3? Mako?

probably do well to get an open water capable flats skiff. you'll have better fishability and less hull slap.

18' frontier is what you want. Extremely good riding boat.

I've been looking for something relatively the same size although I'd be using it 100% in saltwater. If you want dual use I think the aluminum bay boats are nice. G3 that you mentioned has a couple different offerings that would work great.

I have been looking at Maycraft, Kenner (eaarly/pre 2000's with the dual front boxes), and some other smaller brands.

Key west 1720 also a possibility. Someone on here has my old one. Great boat. I would stay away from new Mako.

I know it's 21', but I really like the Skeeter SX 210 with the 200 hp Yamaha. One for "sale" new for around 56k. Not cheap but a friend has one and it's a nice one.

We are looking for one too. They had an 18' frontier for sale in lake charles six months ago. Should've bought.

What’s your price range?

For true beach trout fishing you will need a fiberglass higher sided bay boat. The cookie cutter aluminum boats have a very low bow and take them over the front in beach rollers or good bay chop.

Also get a 150. Don’t settle for a 115. The speed difference cruising is big.

I fish a 19 pathfinder. Does the job. Wish I had a bigger one, but it catches fish.

OP lists Suches, GA as his location. So I'm assuming tidal marsh when he fishes saltwater.

Any idea what your length and width on trailer is? Have run accross some PF 19's and 20's that I really like but I'm constrained to 25x10 parking pad.

umm, it would be around that length. Im displaced by the hurricane so i cant get you a measurement.

ITs a great little boat. I will always want bigger, but i paid 10K for it, so its really hard to justify spending another 20K for a bigger boat when i do well in the one i have.
its also a good size to go bass fishing in. but i have a buddy with a 21' and it fresh water fishes just fine as well.
