You can't win with people that are full of crap. No matter what you bring up, they will one up you everytime. You should tell him an obvious lie and see if he one ups you. (Say you caught a 22# trout or something)

I love hearing the guys that every single time the go fish they will tell you something like this, " i did aight, best five woulda went around 18lbs... "

Jesus H dude you arent fooling me.
Stop lying.
Kevin Van Dam would have a hard time pulling an 18 lb sack on cross lake in July.

My God

Sounds like my dad... But he can really catch 18lbs in July. Me n AGP told him what we caught the other day and he didn't even care if it's not around 15lbs or better, u might as well hold ya breath

This guy also swears to have shot a paintball INTO another guys barrell from 100 yards away. Lulz physics would never allow that to happen

Ima have to think of some of the other stories he's come up with over the past couple years...

Perch fisherman are the worst. I can't tell you how many lies I hear about folks perch jerking on D'arbonne, or Fork. or Larto.

"Yeah, we caught 89, and dey were slabs, pound a half to two pounds--every one of 'em"

Halfway through this lie, they of course lay their right forearm out and put their left hand on their right arm around their elbow--as if to signify the lenth of the fish. B/c we all know its common to pull perch out of D'arbonne that would fall in the Bass slot on Caddo.

I don't know much about fishing at all, but even I know the people you work with are full of shite. What's worse is, that actually believe the crap that spews out of their mouths.

I normally lie when i perch fish.

I may have 52 in the boat and when another person rolls up next to me... I only have 4-5 in the boat and all around 11-13 inches.

Damn right. I'm not telling anybody shite when I'm sitting on a nice bream spot.

Actually no matter how good I'm doing fishing for anything if anyone passes and asks me and I don't know them I always reply "Eh I got a few."

Your dad gave us that "that aint shite smirk" it was great.

When bass fishing, if another boat idles by and asks "what yall got?" I'll usually say, I don't understand it, I can't get a bite today

Sounds like those guys who every hunting story plays out like a bad outdoor show. Ends up with him making an unreal shot, the target never flinches and no one has ever seen anything like it.

If it was a deer, it is "still at the taxidermist".

I like to start asking them questions when they brag about what they caught (made up). Try to get them to give specifics.

ask if he has any luck with a *insert made up name* rig and let them tell you about how they have been using it for years and catch stuff all the time with it.
