Im on my phone so I didn't read the whole post but here is what I'm running. 2011 4x4 F150 with max tow. This makes my back end a hair higher than the regular F150s. I have a 2" Daystar lift and 305/55/20 (33.5"). They fit fine with no rubbing. I still have slight forward rake.

35s are possible with a leveling kit. 2.5" is the most common but I have seen it done with a 2". I would not run 35s without a 4" suspension lift.

A happy medium that lots of guys are running is either 2" or 2.5 with 295/60/20 (34"). They are about 12" wide and have little problems rubbing.

Again, I would not run 35s on a stock truck.

A 2.5" kit and this would make me happy

I was going to go this route but got free shipping on BFG tires. They do not make a 295/60/20 so I went down a hair and a hair wider.

A 3" leveling kit is okay on a 2wd truck. It is not okay on a 4x4. Not a single REPUTABLE company makes a 3" kit for a 4x4, that's for a reason.

You'll be fine with a 2" level insofar as that will give you the height for a 35" tire. I wouldn't do the 2.5", personally. I also wouldn't do 35" Mud Graps. Those are some of the widest tires you can get with all the side lugs. And they wear like shite.

I have a 2" on my '04 truck with 305/65/18 BFG All Terrains (34.1 x 12.2) with no rubbing.

Here's a picture of an older truck on 35x12.5x18 Mud Graps with 2.5" level.

This is a 2" level with 305/55R20 Trail Grapplers:

Much better, IMO. Except for the lights

Since you've already done all of the work for me, can you please post a picture of your truck? I want to see what mine will look like. Hahaha

As soon as I need to replace the Pirellis, I'm going to level and go with bigger tires. Still not completely sold on which tire I'm going to use.

Not on the 04-08. My alignment is permanently throwed off

I wouldn't get more than a 2.5" spacer. Any higher I'd find a legit suspension lift.

I have a 2010 f150 4x4

2.5" leveling kit

305/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers (AT)

Don't think a 35 would fit, but thats just me. I get a small rub when I turn hard now. I wanted 35's too just because I HATE 20" rims and the donut look of tires, but my tire guy recommended against doint the 35's.

I have a 2010 with a 2 1/2 leveling kit with 33's. 35's will rub unless you do some trimming. I stuck with the leveling kit & 33's and it still rides very close to stock. I do have a problem with the ABS kicking in when turning over bumps, curbs, etc...
