That is because your tires don't stick out of the wheel well.

Maybe the 2008-2010 is higher then. How you get no rub without any suspension alterations baffles me.

ETA: I misread. I thought you were running 37's with no lift. I can definitely see 35's on stock wheels. My wheels have a negative offset so it puts them further out. Yours aren't very much more than stock 35's.

Bingo. Same with the 2009 and up F150s

I have a 2008 F150 also. I thought that they were the same height on the 2wd?

Not sure what you're asking, but the 4x4 04-08 F150s have a 1" block on the rear and the front end is a little different. Everything is much tighter on the stock 2wd front end, a couple of bolts were shorter. I put a 3" kit that fits fine on a 4x4 supposedly but my steering geometry is all fricked up since mine's 2wd and that's why it rubs.

I was talking about the 2wd 150's in the last post. I was saying I didn't know the new ones were higher because I thought that was what you were saying.

I knew that the 2wd are much shorter than the 4.

They're not taller really, but they have more wheel well clearance. Like was said you can fit 35s with a 3" kit and no rubbing. On a 04-08 you'd need at least a 4" suspension lift to do that without any rubbing or trimming.

I have an 06' f-150. I've been wanting to level mine but didn't know what size kit to get just to level it out. It's 2 wheel drive so I'm just wanting a more aggressive look. Any recommendations?

Don't if you don't need one. It isn't worth the price of diesel and maintenance if you don't need it.

I got so excited that it went down to $3.66 this week. It's a shame that is what makes me giddy. If I remember correctly it was around $1.00 when I was in high school. Something like $0.69 or $0.75 for red dye

Don't get a 3" hell bent steel kit, the uneven tire wear is impossible to fix

I'd get a 2" or 2.5" max. If you go 2.5" and think the back should be higher get a 1" block for the rear. I have a 3" on the front and homemade 1.5" blocks on the rear and like the way it sits. Perfectly level.

I really don't look anymore. I just swipe the debit card and go. I just turn the receipts to my accountant and let him do the work. The prices make me sick so I just ignore them.

Hell bent steel. I only got it because it was the cheapest I could find. Kits solid it's just the 3" lift is not made for a 2wd

On 4wd f150s 2.5" should give you enough clearence for 35"s. I have a 2.5 on my 2wd with 33 terra grapplers
