I killed my bird in the morning yesterday. Put in a grocery bag in the fridge until lunch, then went drop it off to the taxidermist. I was just careful not to mess up any feathers.

Tuck the head up underneath the wing and keep it wrapped up in a bag or double wrapped with some newspaper if you plan on leaving it in your freezer for a while

Had this one done several years ago.
I'd like to get a couple of specs flying to hang from a beam in the den, but the ole lady wouldn't be too keen on it.

There’s a guy named Jeff DeBlieux near Houma. Does some of the best work I’ve seen. He did the bird I did the box etc.
