Civil service jobs... not for me.

I know someone trying to get in, they didn't make the last academy but the recruiters of course tell everyone to keep trying... They will never tell the truth.

I would guess they are inline with the LSP which I believe is about $49K.

$2886/month is less than $35k/yr + the use of a vehicle.

Still think they need to bump it up quite a bit.

Why should they increase pay for a job that has more applicants than they could ever hire?

Don't forget about all the benefits you get when you sell your soul to the government for a paycheck.

Sounds like the Water Nazis in Florida. I hunt private land (not mine) and never deal with the game side, just fish. And they suck.

gov jobs have always sacrificed pay now for paid retirement in 25 yrs with benefits.

Now you want 100k salaries and the 25 yr paid retirement, and many are getting it already. I do not understand proponents of government growth and the addition control over tax payers said growth breeds.

It was really corrupt when joey broussard and winton vidrine were there.

There was a big warehouse fire that “destroyed” prob a million or 3 in new boats and engines. Some shady stories about how that went down.
