The bayou might be a good location for that.
I'm probably going to try it or go to big/lil bama on Friday morning. When I was talking to folks in lil bama on my way out from hunts they didn't seem to be catching, though.

I've scratched with bass every time I've gone to 2 o'clock, but we never scratched in either of the Bamas. Usually catch 5 or 6.

I didn't even bring any bass tackle, still kicking myself for that.
I’m the opposite. I always forget to bring perch tackle.

Do you fish the north or south side of big bama?

It was a planned quick trip. I just put a jack plate on my boat and wanted to run it. My GF was with me and she had to be at some baby shower BS later

I've fished both. i think the water in lil bama is cleaner, but i think out of the 4 or 5 trips ive been on to them combined, we caught 6 bass every time.

Will do. I havent decided if I'm going to bass fish or try to catch a sacalait on purpose

Launched at the south big bama launch. Lost one small bass. Threw crawfish, senkoss, spinners, and crankbaits. Lost the bass on a shad colored crank.
