Use a pool cleaning pole, and a long hose. Hook up mix of poison and water in a bucket and spray from pressure washer

Had one last summer. I snipped the limb down at night. Burned it in place the next night.

Get you a simple high volume water gun/toy. The kind that has the simple push tube is awesome and is what I use. Called a Stream Machine. Write in black sharpy on both sides of it INSECTICIDE, Bug Spray, whatever... and put it up if you have kids.

Make a half bucket of insecticide, suck it up, walk over and blast that thing. I used to struggle with wasp nests under the front door entrance. 18 feet high and partially enclosed by brick. Nothing would reach up there without me getting on a ladder.
This toy reaches it with plenty of force. Probably a 1/2" stream so it goes high. I think it will reach 30 feet. Blew some wasp nests off the house. Point it up, shoot it hard, and get out of the way.
Just saw a few recommendations in the thread for super soaker. Yep, same stuff. Walmart advice or not this shite works.

Dawn dishwashing soap is the best and cheapest insect killer I’ve ever seen. Wasp and bees can’t fly after they have been hit. They breathe through their skin so you get to watch them suffocate.
I fill squirt bottles to take down any wasps. A couple tablespoons per squirt bottle.
Maybe find a super soaker.
Just learned something else from the Outdoor board.

Maybe a garden hose. I found one in a tree once (small tree) and bent it over and dipped it into Sweetwater creek. It dissolved almost immediately. They may be able to follow the water back to its source though. There is no doubt it'll piss them off but the nest will, in my experience, dissolve pretty fast.

Look at the mosquito sniper attachment for your blower. I have one and depending on how strong your blower is will reach that far. And you better spray the heck out of it.

You got a pressure washer with a soap injector on it? Hit them with dawn and water after dark.

One hit with a water balloon with dawn soap will do it. Not sure if there are water guns that will actually reach that far.

I have high water pressure, I was able to get a hose pulled up to the deck with a jet nozzle attached, and it barely reached the nest, but it did reach. I got it good and wet then hauled arse. No dawn or anything, it was more of a test if the water would even reach. Luckily it did. I'll see if it just disolves with a few more sprayings, otherwise it's going to be a super soaker situation filled with poison.

Just discovered a yellow jacket nest inside a wall cavity on my deck, I’m going to hose down with dawn and vinegar tonite and see if that works

What does the wall cavity look like and do you own a shop vac?
Posted on 6/8/24 at 3:52 pm to deeprig9
2x4 studs with 5/4 deck boards on each side. I’ll be able to see down the inside wall to get them soaked

the simple dawn and water mixture is all you'll need. Haven't heard anything about using vinegar. Every year, we get a wasp nest on our front porch, i just go out there with a bowl and throw the water up and at em and it kills em dead instantly almost.
