I'm looking for some ideas to store my kayaks outside. Currently they are leaning on the side of my house back to back. I'd like to get them off the ground and a little protection from the elements. I don't have an option to hang from my garage ceiling or store in there. Thanks

yep. Perfect solution. Also, when you make it ,make it with a gabled top so you can tie off a grey tarp over them.

Anywhere to store them on the exterior wall? It would be off the grass and somewhat out of the way.

I use the hooks as well, but on my back fence. Bought a cover for it and was done. Easy on and easy off by the gate.

That's what I want to do but I don't have a fence around my property. I could hang them off the side my house but worried it would look like shite.

That idea looks simple enough. What size pvc is that? Does it just go straight up and lean against the house?

These measurements are the gaps, not the raw length of pipe.

Was the block an original design element?

Pretty sure it's 3". I wanted to go smaller, but the problem with that is, the insertions are too short for the weight. Yes, it's just leaning.

I couldn't store them outside like that up here. The guinea wasps and mahogany wasps would build their own countries inside the yaks.

It was the result of 3 studies commissioned on the stability issue.

I am shocked it hasn't happened yet. For whatever reason, they avoid the yaks. Wrens have built in there though.

Some companies build zipper closure covers for kayaks. I built a kayak out of mahogany that i kept outside for a couple of years with one of the covers and had no problems with bugs/moisture whatsoever. With plastic kayaks there will be no problems.

Do you have a privacy fence? You can hang it from that or a wall in your garage.
