I'm wanting to get rid of my single cab ranger and get into a crew. Looking at the Teryx 4 and Mule pro-fxt line. Any input?

Go fast - Teryx
Do work/haul stuff- Mule

Pro-fxt has a 45mph governor
4010s has a 25mph governor

Eta: mules seat 6 pretty comfortably.

Really depends on what you want to do. Mule is more for the house/ farm and the Terex is more for mud and hunting. I've had at Teryx 4 for 5-6 years. It's been a fine rig. Powerful, good ground clearance, dependable and tough. It has a rinky dink POS bed though, and you can't haul much of shite.

My pro-fxt has rinky dink POS plastic sides on the bed and tailgate. Pretty pathetic. Bottom is steel though.

My 4010 had a solid steel bed that was much better, imo.

I have a 97 Mule that’s still running like a top. Won’t win any races but it’s been bulletproof.

I have a 2017 Teryx that I purchased used 2 years ago. It’s the 800cc, but it has great power. It’s a very comfortable ride also, but it has almost no bed in the back and will haul very little.

I have a 2008 Teryx NRA Edition, 2 seater, 750cc, but man it’s pretty fast(50mph governor), and with an optional front rack, hauls all my gear & passengers gear, is very comfy, but with the engine between seats gets hot as a sumbitch in summer months.

I just bought a 2016 Teryx 4 last week. Love it so far. Fast, rides smooth, plenty of interior room. The bed is small, but with a rack I think I’ll be able to haul all my duck hunting gear.

Only downside so far is that it seems louder than most side by sides I’ve been around

If you want to haul stuff or work get the Mule. I have a kubota Rtv and it’s a workhorse. Muck like the mule it’s heavy and slow. If you do the maintenance and don’t use it as a toy it will last a long time. The mule 610 was the only other machine that I seriously considered.

So does a ranger. And I can tell you 20 cubic ft of limestone doesn't do shite.

And that's about 3x the weight limit.
