Just got back from Falcon Lake. Here's some pictures and a video of our bass!

A big group of us made a weekend trip to Falcon. Fished all day Friday and Saturday, and until 10:00 AM on Sunday. One of the guys in our boat caught a 9.01 and a 6.80, but other than that we didn't have anything over 4.5 pounds. Overall, it was a good trip. We caught well over 100 fish in the two and a half days, but a ton of 1- 2.5 pound fish. Lake is super low and fishing small, so we had to resort to finesse tactics to catch the big ones.
ETA the 6.80 and the 9.01 both came on a dropshot with a 7.3 pound test leader.
That was our first time going, but I will definitely be going back in the future.

I think the second day we had right at 27 pounds with our best five. A couple of the other boats had over 30 with their best five that day.

That's what we did most of the time. We caught a good bit flipping up shallow, but none over 2 pounds.

I have been going almost every other weekend the last few months. Mostly fishing ledges and points with rocks. Bigger fish have come cranking 8 and 10xds.
Doesn’t help much now but let me know if y’all come back within the next year

Very nice catch but that last photo looks like a real hog. Hard to tell from a photo but that looks 8-9 pounds in the picture. Do you know the weight?
