What I dont get is the argument that it intrudes on rights of others so lets ban it.....Are my rights not equally important as long as I do it legally and respectfully

My stance on "ban" is on public property. Just so you know.

Nobody has stated a problem when it's done in this manner.

unless you have a fence around your property, or on an island, you can't do it respectfully

Same could be said for bow hunting A LOT of deer are injured every year due to bad shot placement

No. You are a dog hunter and are below all still hunters.

Alx, I'll agree with that.

They could pass a law, that dogs illegally on another property constitutes poaching, and hold owners responsible. At this point, strays could be shot, and collared could be as well, and owners held responsible.

What if your dog barks all night and ruins my sleep and infringes upOn my right to a peaceful rest? Should I be able to come over and shoot it?

And you're really wanting to equate the argument to trespassing on someone elses property to shoot an animal, to dogs on someone elses property?

Nobody's going onto anyone elses property to shoot their dog.

Yes but according to this thread the law takes to long, And is ineffective. I should just be able to shoot your dog if it bothers me.

I actually see both sides of the argument. But my advice is to relax as that dog hunting is dying anyway and that in the meantime, dog hunting does not mess things up as bad as some of you seem to think it does.
