Picked this up this afternoon for $200. Will be perfect for my needs and I'll be able to carry a guest.

It will be extremely stable beyond anything a yakker can imagine. Even more stable than a Jon Boat.

However, will require more thrush than a yak & I'd think it would be more susceptible to wind.

I'll let you fellas know if I catch anything over the weekend. Need to find someone to take my kids Saturday while my wife goes to graduation so I can fish.

It was for sale in someones yard. I pass the same route going from one school to another to pick up my girls. Noticed it today. He wanted 250. Offered 200 and it was sold. He said he used it 5-6 times. It is in great shape!

Get you a trolling motor if you're just dicking around a neighborhood pond and call it a day.

I have one of these. LINK /

They no longer carry the model I have (LINK weighs 98 lbs raw.

I used to laugh at Yakkers, until a buddy took me up a salt marsh creek (where motorized boats couldn't go) where it opened up into large deep pool. There we got on some door mat flounders.

From that point on I was the one that was hooked.

Bassyaks come outfitted with Minn Kota Maxxum trolling motors and foot peddle steering.

There's nothing like having a big Red hit your bait for a long run from a Yak that is motorized and maneuverable.
