North Missouri public. Mathews Phase 4 and a saddle. On a finger of a pond with CRP and thickets around me. Had a deer stomping when I was halfway up the tree.

You get two tags with an Archer's Permit. This year they went from two either sex and an antlerless. This wma has the following in the pamphlet that hasnt been updated since last year:

"Archery and firearms deer hunting is permitted for antlered or antlerless deer on the following permits only: Archer's Hunting Permit and Firearms Any-Deer Hunting Permit. No archery antlerless or firearm antlerless permits may be used. All other statewide deer seasons and limits apply."

The wardens up here are interpreting that as meaning any antlerless tag, not just the archery antlerless bonus tag. The archer's permit is a different permit than the archery permit.

Sounds like mass confusion but hopefully you’ll stick a monster rack and can throw the other tags in the fire.

Seems like the deer in Louisiana are free to roam around... hope they get the memo this weekend....
