Nice buck Frosty!
Just rolled up after driving 4 hours in the rain and wind and everyone heading home from their holiday trips. 38 degrees and dropping, rain and wind…..nah, not that mad at them. Tomorrow is another day

Nice buck for this area on cam had his G2 broken off a few weeks ago. A consistent 6 pt showed up last night with his left half broken off now. Then a 3rd deer missing his entire right antler showed last night.
Im grunting, rattlin and bleating near estrus rag

I was up early and stayed between the rains. Didn't see jack. End of TN gun season, shut out this year and it sucks. Looking at MS and AL because meat...

In hindsight, I should have gone to get in a box blind just to experience hunting in the snow. Pretty cool for a South of I-10 boy.

Wright Patterson AFB Ohio
30 degrees with a 13mph NW wind
PSE Surge with NAP Thunderheads
Saddle hunting
Went in today around 1:30pm to find a spot. Found a nice 70 yard clearing in the woods with at least 6 trails leading to and through it. Perfect spot with trees scattered in the clearing which provides great cover to draw back when a deer goes behind one.
Had a spike come in and walk underneath me around 2:45 then hang out 15 yards away for a few minutes. I was hoping another buck would be with him but no luck. Rut is over so I’ve noticed the bucks are in groups again here. I let him walk.
A couple mature does snuck in on me without me noticing. They were also 15 yards away. I slowly turned my head and one of them started blowing at me and they ran off. Saw nothing after that.
I’m about done with letting deer walk so I’m putting an arrow through the next one I have a shot on.

Ended up getting down and following a big body spike we've watched the last two years. Took him after stalking to within 50 yards. Will make a good gravy!
