Warm, W wind, got the swamp nuts
Ladder stand overlooking plot with thick oak flats to the left and right. Levy dead ahead 400 yards. This is the stand I probably see most deer on.

Prefer to hunt a mature set of horns but brothers are bitching at me for not filling my doe tags. If I don’t see a shooter buck, I’ll put some nannies down.

Thank you Biggsc. Back on stands after lunch and many tall tales. He saw some this morning, but didn't take a shot.

I hope you and your buddy have a blast.

I love to hunt but my favorite part is the comrade between hunters. My brothers, nephews and I , along with close friends we bring up here sometimes, have a blast bullshiting, cooking and drinking beers around the campfire. Wish dad was still around to enjoy it with us.

If you’re friend kills a deer that’s just lagniappe. It’s awesome of you to take him hunting.

I didn’t have stage 4 cancer but I’m a cancer survivor myself. I can’t tell you how therapeutic hunting was for me. Your buddy will cherish this time.

Good Luck and Good Bless y’all
