Noxubee County Ms, box stand overlooking 2 shooting lanes, .270. We're hosting an old friend who has stage 4 cancer. It has already been a hoot telling old stories of our mis spent youth. I hope he gets a shot.

Got my first bowkill this past week. Public land, small doe. 12 yards, shooting Rage Hypodermic +P 100 grain. Thats the entry. Exit was 1/4” smaller. Deer ran about 50-60 yards.

Indian Bayou set up in flooded woods before shooting time...couple of wood ducks...
no other birds flying and very few shots...
rain hit and I left...perfect timing...

Made it to my ground blind for an afternoon hunt
Drizzling.. hopefully it’ll let up.
