Is this a good optic for an AR? Caught a bargain at my local Wally

They had all kinds of shite on a blowout. I got 6" Gerber lock blade knives for $6 ea.

I got a pair of Nikon 50mm binocs for $40.

I got a 3.9.40 Nikon scope for my boy for $55.


They had several Bushnell red dots at various prices but all looked to be WAY under normal retail.


The lady told me that a few weeks earlier they had bait casting combos for $4.50 ea.


I went in there to get a $5 bottle of olive oil and dropped 3 bens...... I told the lady she was gonna get me when I got home.


When I showed my wife what the stuff normally retails at she told me to go back and buy everything they had and we'd crank up the ebay account.

Ran price check - $74 at Burbank Walmart

anyone with any experience with this optic?

You'll find good deals at Walmart occasionally. I picked up a $200 Primos Truth cam there a few years ago for about $50

I don't personally have one but know a couple of guys who do, and they seem to be pleased with them. I wish there was a walmart around me that had them in stock because I would by it in a heartbeat.

I just left WM in Covington and they have one left for $89. No $35 deal to be had there.

This one has the ballistics dots on the reticle calibrated for a .223.

I've had a Nikon on my .444 for about 10 years and absolutely LOVE it.

I don't know if they are blowing these out at other WM's or not, the lady had to enter all kinds of codes to over-ride the registers.


I never though I'd mount a Nikon on my rig and have more in the rings than I did in my scope.

You should have bought 10. I have teh 3x9 version and I paid $200. It's a great scope for the money I think you will be very happy.
