Mature bucks have a rhyme and reason for everywhere they go but the moon has no impact on it.

All I know is when I see them all on the side of the interstate in the dark before I get to my spot, I won't see any from the tree all day.

The quoted portion says bucks. I wonder if does are different? I drove the same woods roads for many years on my way to stands. Sometimes, there were does in the plots. Other times there were none. It sure seemed like the early plot does were during the waxing 3/4 moon.

Barometric pressure is most consistent factor in predicting buck movement. 300.2 to 30.4.
Look it up…it’s studied and proven.
Ive followed this for years….Basically the day or 2 after a front comes through

Didn’t MSU release some sort of huge study on this last year? I remember reading it in a doctor’s waiting room

We had a front come through during the beginning of the season. It was like a flip was switched the day after the front came through. Deer were everywhere and were moving.
