It's on its 3rd mechanic and I still don't have it back. frick big cities and the thieves that live in them. Had I been 15 years younger I would have beat the 2nd mechanic unconscious with his wrenches.

Half toyed with replacing the 5.4 in my excursion with the remanufactured raptor 5.4 but I’ve decided to sell my excursion. Probably will kick myself in the arse years down the road though

Haven’t done anything to it in 4-5 years except oil changes. Just had to get the blend door and HVAC control module changed but other than that nothing.

No issues with it whatsoever except it guzzles gas. 14 mpg on the highway and 13 city. Bad either way!

I am not far from it with all the fricking issues the new trucks have

tell me about it. my '17 GMC Sierra has the "Chevy Shake". Those transmissions are garbage. GMC knows it but wont admit it.

know a guy who just had his transmission rebuilt, 2015 z71, less than 100k miles. GM dealership was going to put the exact same (new) transmission in the truck. Local shop rebuilt with a few better parts, GM denies a problem so they will not have to recall their pieces of shite.

All theyve done is a transmission flush and replacement with Mobile 1 fluid. They claimed that the original trans fluid was not viscous enough. That worked for 1000 miles and it came back. Their next step was to replace the torque converter. Unfortunately my extended warranty expired so i havent done anything. I have little faith that it would work.

There are some good youtube videos of mechanics rebuilding and retuning to make the problem go away. But why TF should anyone have to do that. Ill never buy another GM again. Probably wont buy american again

I have the tundra 4x4 and the v6 is great. It actually has more horsepower than the 5.7 in the tundra I traded in. Tows great with the 10 speed transmission and I average 19.1 MPG

I put about 250K on a truck before trading it and this is the first I have with 4x4. Last four have been tundras and I have never put a wrench on any of them except for scheduled maintenance.

GM has completely lost me as a customer and I am now a cheerleader against buying their vehicles.

The electronic transmission in my 2004 z71 did me in on GM. Looking back it was a decent truck, but set me back financially. I did not like the quirky shifting at low speed.

I have a 2020 Tundra with the 5.7. I plan on keeping it a while.

Those turbo V6s are great for grocery getting and occasional towing of light to mid weights. Lord forbid one of those Turbos go out, 5k min fix and no way I would trust them if I towed more than a zero turn or sxs semi often.

they’re great for the common model which is trade up before factory warranty runs out. They’re disposable pieces of shite, crawl under and check out an eco boost one day.

It’s being discontinued. I’m sure there’s a reason. Personally I wouldn’t want to find out why. They’re killing the Titan altogether in a year or two.

I really think they d/c’d it due to poor sales.

Why not get a 3/4 or 1 ton with a gas engine? All those engines will be 6.0+ v8s.

Platinum $63k. I didn’t want all the features like the moon roof but to get all the features i did want like the retractable bed step I had to step up.

i did look at the GMC and comparably equipped it was more. Any GM product would have had to been $10k less for me to buy it over a toyota.
