Went to Dominican Republic a while ago. I cleaned up some shite in the back yard the day before we left. Sure enough, the first day of a 9 day trip to the DR, I started breaking out everywhere. WE were on the phone with Delta looking for a flight home and my wife went to the pharmacy at the resort. Found out they had a Doc that comes in the mornings. Suffered all night and half my damn body was covered. Went to see him, paid him $100 cash for a visit. He gave me the shot at 9am and I was sitting on the beach by 5 that evening. Saved out vacation.
Now he did use a medieval syringe to give me the injection but I maned up.
Damn needle was like a straw.

Im on a steroid pack from a yellowjacket sneak attack. Assholes got my left foot. Swelling was still there 2 days later so I went to doc. That was Tuesday

Those steroid packs are life savers for me when I get into poison ivy. About the only thing that will start to get me on the mend.

Yes steroid shot and some special poison ivy cream they prescribed is doing wonders.
My wife hit a yellow jacket nest recently and she came flying into the bedroom (we have a door to the outside in it) covered and chased by those frickers ripping her clothes off getting in the shower.
I took great pleasure in killing those frickers who made it inside.
Those things are relentless.

I've been nailed by all those things. Damned in the ground yellow jackets will swam a man in a hurry. I didn't know what hit me.
