I didn't down vote him or you. I'm truly curious about what part of the beach was hot this morning. I was casting my net by 6:30 with people fishing in the water and boats around me. I think I saw one fish caught from a boat. I'm not that oblivious.

I was just joking with ya bud.

In front of Lighthouse is a little place called Yums, they have excellent burgers & poboys. They also have a good looking breakfast menu that I haven't tried. Starfish is gross.

I stopped reading right there. Tried their shrimp poboy earlier this week and the shrimp had zero seasoning.

This right here. Solid burgers and chicken strips for cheap.

Starfish if you want to be waited on.

If you don't eat a Conoco burger than you didn't really go to the island

Ate takeout from Starfish. Had the gator poboy. It was decent enough.

If it doesn't rain I'll be in the surf for the trout slaughter that tigerwise spoke about.

Interesting that Yum's had 2 bad comments. I thought it was 100x better than Starfish which had no s&p on the burger. It has been awhile since I had it, I recommended it to a co-worker going this weekend, will give him a heads up.

My stepson said the burger from Yums was good. To small, but good. The poboys were tasteless.

Last time I ate at a place in grand isle. They were trying to be upscale as frick. They opened at 5. The place was 86 degrees. You'd think you'd run your ac to cool down the dining room before dinner service. I paid 16 dollars for an over priced shrimp salad.

Most places down there serve pretty solid seafood and burgers

We tear up some Jo-Bobs! Burgers, chicken and po-boys. My son loves their roast beef poboy. If we just making an overnight fishing run.
Last couple times I've been to Starfish it was dissappointing? But it'll do in a pinch. I'd prefer to cook anyways when I'm on the island. With seafood everwheres or just throwing some meat on the grill, cooking and hanging at the camp is why I'm down there.

Starfish, Jo-Bobs, and bridgeside is the only places I've eaten on the island.
