Whatever gobbling weather is. I don't think turkeys even know what they like.

Any conditions in which the season is open

Turkeys all died from the drought. The ones that survived are in poor shape and it's not worth going.

Just kidding. 51 degrees at daylight, light wind, high pressure, 12hrs of daylight, on a Thursday are the best.

35degrees in morning--no clouds (for turkey hunting)

or

65 degrees pouring down rain in a thunderstorm. (for turkey killing)

If I've learned anything from turkey hunting its that just when you think you know, you don't know shite.

On days when I would bet the farm on turkeys gobbling, I have been completely skunked.

Then again I've had days where its 30mph gusts, and 40 degrees and they are gobbling at every loud noise.

That's what makes it fun I guess.

High 40’s to low 50’s, high/rising pressure, with marginal wind.

Slightly overcast, winds less then 8 mph, highs in the upper 70's to low 80's with a cool start to the morning with temps in the mid 50's.

I’ve seen some people and studies suggest pressure is something else that determines the gobbling. Ideal is like 30 inches give or take a tenth.

Not hot, no wind, hopefully cool enough to not be completely covered up in mosquitos and keep Mr. No-knees from slithering up my leg.

Cool to mild, sunny, no wind.
If you’re lucky enough to be in the woods when it thunders, get ready for a gobble. Best locater call there is

I’m always gonna go if able, but they talk more when it’s pretty. One of the best things about turkey hunting, a deer and a fish will have you out there when it’s miserable.

This

But rising pressure has been shown to lead to more gobbling. I’ve got on birds in all kinds of weather though, on days when you’d never expect to hear them gobble. If I can go turkey hunting, I’m going… regardless of the weather.
