About 3 weeks ago I picked up the one+ drill with hammer setting and two 2ah batteries for $80. Not sure if you can still find it, but it was a hell of a deal. I just bought it for the batteries for my PEX crimper and sold the drill.

If you can wait a few days watch homedepots deal of the day. They always have deals.

I wish I picked ryobi instead of Milwaukee platform.

I dont do contractor shite around the house and batteries are expensive as hell.

Now I’m stuck inthe pattern of, “well, I better just get another m18 battery instead of flipping to another platform. “

If you’re handy you can open the battery and see what cells are in there. Amazon will usually have them for substantially less than a whole new pack.

There will be a few cells wired together in series to make the pack. You just switch them out. Some light soldering may be involved but not always.

Are you sure they are bad? Have same issue…. 3 batteries less than 6 months old seem bad.

Read that the batteries are probably fine but have a chip in them that needs a reset. Several you Tube and other sites talk about how to reset them. Just haven’t done it yet but seems easy.

I need some as well. I bought a ryobi fan for my dog kennels and it came with a single 2ah battery which only runs for about an hour. I’ve heard of using Amazon knock offs but the reviews seem iffy.

Was just looking at those. Damn it hurts to spend $75/ battery. Only paid $80 for the fan and battery together.

I bought some off eBay a few weeks ago super cheap. Usually the box box stores run tool/battery specials around holidays, especially Father’s Day.

Chinese unlabeled, but the Ryobi's are from china anyway. Probably made in the same factory. 56$ instead of 100+

I bought them when mine went out and have not had any problems

Off topic but here’s two Milwaukee m18 5a. For 110 total. Apparently you can buy them individually and get down tk 106 w promo code and no tax or ship.

So now I should quit bitchin about Milwaukee.

Good deal if you need them right now.

direct tools outlets... they have factory blemished deals, etc. But I have found you can buy tool combos CHEAPER than the battery itself.

Direct Tools Outlet

For instance, I bought a weed eater that included a battery and a charger for less than just a battery.

They have physical stores you can check out if not comfortable with dotcom.
