My mind is getting the best of me today. So the A10 was nice, but not much foot room up front, especially for hunting (waders or boots). The only other yak I could stretch for being a SOT is the Ascend D10T or the Heritage Angler 10 at Academy, both being $399......School me gurus.

Well my dad is actually being generous and gifting me a new yak, since the pirogue he gave me was a fail. I just wanted to keep it cheap, since I have a kid on the way and I dont want to drain his pocketbook, my mom will do that when the baby arrives.

Boys listen up. KC has a realtree kayak pattern. Will be a top notch hunting vessel. So if any of you hunt out of of a piroque or whatever this might be pretty sweet

Do whatever you can to find/afford a 12' SOT. You'll thank us later.

I checked out the heritages and honestly the seat is fricking terrible. My back started hurting just looking at it.

Before I fix up the hobie I'm going to BPS tomorrow to get an ascend if they have it.

Seats are awesome for all morning trips. All day with no rest will be tougher.

I can stand up in the ascend if there is no wind. Least long enough to piss

Yeah, me too. I usually turn sideways with my feet in the water if I need to stretch out my back. My back sucks

They had a couple of the 12 foot SOT this past weekend. I had my mind made up that was what I wanted until I saw the Tarpon 120.

Heritage looks like it just has a backrest and no arse pad. I wonder if an aftermarket seat will fit in there? I am torn on the SINK vs SOT, I know its crazy but I just see the SINK being better for hunting.

That was Saturday Geuxt, found this one on Sunday and couldn't pass it up.

DrTyger, if your in or around BR check out the backpacker. Just don't look at the Hobie Pro Angler too long or you will want it.
