Possum on the porch just now, didn't want to pop him on the porch so I let him get a 30 yard head start or so.

Night sights and a trl1, and I couldn't hit the little bastard to save my life

Know damned good and well I would have gotten him with the glock.

Poor muscle memory? Bad sights? A little sleepy? Not a shot I would typically miss.

You’re old and your eyes suck.

I don’t know if that’s true but I’ll roll with it...

My eyes arent what they used to be, but even still... 7 shots of .45 this time a night is a bit much for a possum

Totally different ergonomics and muscle memory used for each.

That's a long shot for me and my old eyes with a pistol...we're talking 100 feet. I would have missed that bastard too.

So how does it shoot at the range? I’ve shot three Kimbers that belonged to friends - using sandbags, they could barely stay on an 8” target at 30 yards.

30 yd shot at a moving target the size of a football in the dark? That’s a 1/10 shot during daylight IF you shoot a lot.

And shooting at a downward angle...let me guess, the shots were hitting the dirt short of the target?

Lack of marksmanship.

Had it been a glock you still would have missed low and to the left.

High. All about three inches too high.

he shoulda died from a heart attack- either from fear or laughing at you.

On the bright side, if anyone close by had intended to mess with your place you provided a pretty good reason why they should move along.

Sounds like poor marksmanship. You would've missed 7 more times with a Glock.
