Just bought a new boat and I need to put that hydro turf, or something similar, in it. Metal gets too hot

What do y’all recommend? The boat is a go devil mud boat that I’ll be hunting out of.

Hydro turf. If your local to the BR area gator trax in Springfield keeps it in stock.

My spastic azz measured and laid a 23v Kenner, should be easy with a flat boat. Either early or late since you’ll have shrinkage if it measured hot and laid warm. Spray 90 at corners and double wipe with denatured alcohol or similar.

You might have to send people a pin or a 8-10 digit grid, because I doubt a lot of folks know where that is.

Gulf Coast Aqua Traction

This guy does fantastic work. I have some of it in my bass boat, and it's great. Even has a warranty.

What does that stuff look like after a season of duck hunting? I like the look and feel but in my experience the less shite in a boat to be destroyed the better. I will never understand the concept of carpet in a boar and vinyl is almost as bad. Aluminum and fiberglass is bad enough without adding something else for the sun to attack....

It looks great man. I have a friend of mine that has it on his boat and he's hunted with it for 3 years now. If you wash it quickly, all the mud and junk will wash off quickly.

After calling around and pricing everything, eBay had the best deal. $68 for an 86" x 47" sheet. I purchased 3 of them. Plan to install it myself

That’s what I’ve done on my last two duck boats. Buy the 3m backed sheets of swamp camo and lay them out myself.

Washing it quickly during duck seaason would be problematic for me LOL....I like to hunt the morning, come in around noon, take a short nap, and watch football or something prior to doing it again next morning....washing a boat, hell even getting the water bottles and vienna sausage cans out, ain't something I would be prone to doing in December....but I take your point. I will wait until the weather warms up and pressure wash the aluminum and its good to go...and the dog might find a sausage or three next season!

I went with the Gator Camo. With the way my boat looks, I think this mat will look cool. Plan to get with it next weekend. Will post pics
