Watched one take another to the ground this morning. Plenty of birds today.

I 3 feeders and have to fill them daily right now. I'll try and get a rough count this evening but I'd guess around 20.

I usually have a dozen or so but I've only had a handful this year.

I have about 4 gallons out and have to fill them all up roughly every 3 days and clean them about once a week. I try to keep 8 gallons of feed in the fridge pre mixed. I don’t have a clue how many are here.

Should say this is at 2 locations with roughly 2 gallons per location about 500 yards (roughly 1/4 mile) apart.

South Lake Charles.

Sunday 9/17/23 a hummingbird zoomed by me next to the house. Cooked down some sugar water and bought a feeder.

Tuesday 9/19/23 4 hummingbirds at the feeder for about 30 minutes.

my hummingbird activity has dropped from my normal 3-4 birds all summer in Marietta, GA, to basically none now. I saw one bird feeding around sunset yesterday, may have been a travelling bird. Looks like mine are headed south.

Yesterday I had at least 10 in BR
I love this time of year when there are tons of them, it only lasts a week or 2

After what I thought was a drop, we were swarmed again this morning. Must be waves.

I'm seeing the same thing. 6 or 7 one day, next day over a dozen, then back down again. This is the most we've had in a long time.

My three local hummers have been fighting hard against the transits as they come through. I put up a third feeder to handle the rush. I have also been seeing more hummingbird moths on my honeysuckle plants.

With the incoming cold front this morning I have been invaded by hummers heading South.

Biggest reduction of the season this weekend. I'll be reducing feeders from 6 to 4. Soon, I'll just have one out just in case I get an October Rufus.

Haven't seen any on my feeders now in 3 days. The last two have headed south, I guess.

I had three that camped out in my garage for three days and finally left this morning. I tired everything to get them out but they refused to fly out.

They are attracted to the (often) red colored pull handles on the manual door release. I had to cover mine up at the last house.

Had a baby stop by some flowers yesterday evening. First time I’ve ever seen a youngin, was awesome. Thought it was a bug at first, was so small.
