My granddad used to go after the nests with a broom. He was such a badass they never dared to sting him

I'm not reading 3 pages but if it hadnt been mentioned, dawn mixed with water will kill them better than any product on the market.

Combined with a Scotch-Brite pad it wil make your old slick golf grips new again.

We got rid of a big one by using three people with spray cans wearing thick clothes.

The chemical Ultra Dawn was very controversial when it came out. It is a fungicide that doesn't break down quickly. Not good for the environment.

It will also kill fleas if you bath dogs with it.

Was this at Chennault? They have a big sign up on one of the par 3s on the front nine. What sucks is you cant read the writing until you get right up on the sign. And then you notice it says that there are bees in that tree that the sign is on and to stay clear from it.

I stepped near one of those ground hornet/wasp/yellerjacket nests looking for a ball once. Those things hit hard. My ankle looked like a grapefruit in no time.

Sorry for the delay

About 9 o'clock I went out to the nest with 3 cans of spray(Lowes is doing buy one get one, So I bought 6 ), I turned on my front walk light, they were quiet despite being da tree shakuh from ealier.

I took aim at the quarter sized kill spot on the back of the nest and bam, it was lights out. They started droping dead falling out of the hole. About 100 or so fell out and I am sure there were more in the nest.

After about an hour I knocked it from the tree then used my blow torch to burn what was left of the nest.

Sorry no pics, it wasnt really that exciting

Kerosene (gasoline or charcoal starter works fine as well) in a tank sprayer. Just don't use around open flames...or any flames for that matter.

Which ones live in the ground, yellowjackets or hornets? Those things will light you up.
