Normally I'm decent a judging age but this location has me stumped. I'm used to skinny hill deer and these are bean fed pretty much from birth. I let him walk several times last year thinking he was young but looking at old cards I'm not sure now. Any guesses. I can give other deer pics if needed for reference.

Judgement made solely on the rack. Guessing video is from last year seeing as the leaves have fallen and it appears there is snow falling (maybe flies in front the of cam). So he'd be 2 1/2 this year.

Body isnt as big as you think. No sagging belly or sway in his back which you see with bucks that are 3.5 years or older. OP said he's hunting an Ag area, I'd expect them to put on some weight quickly.

agree, most definitely 1.5 last year, or when that clip was made.

2.5 year old. He would definitely be culled on my lease.

Depending on when the video was taken. Pre or early rut 1.5. If it was late or post rut he's probably 2.5 and a little run down.

Oh I agree with your assessment. I think he is 1.5 as well when that video was taken, but I do think he is a big 1.5 year old deer body wise

Vid was taken Nov. 18 last year. I was thinking 1.5 based on the other deer I had been seeing but just wasn't sure. Even the does are big around here. It's tough, I killed a what I'm pretty sure was a 3.5 year old last year, on the hoof I had thought 4.5 or older.

Count another vote for 1.5, just give him a couple more years.

I would guess 2.5. This year you should be able to tell if he should be culled or not.

I'm going with 1.5 as well. Still high in the back end, with not much development in front shoulders or brisket

I would say 2.5 in that video. At least where I hunt a 1.5 year old wouldnt have that thickness in neck and shoulders. It would appear thinner.

I'd say 2.5. I killed one almost identical last year.
