All day everyday.

It sounds like the group of guys was pretty young. I was only able to start deer hunting alone at that age. I don't think I would've trusted myself or those around me bird hunting at 15. There are too many airhead moments.

Hope the kid pulls through.

I'm from the Livonia area and know which family it is from Facebook. Haven't heard too much about it though. I'm sure the family have more pressing concerns than satisfying our curiosity. Good family too. Very sad.

So terrible, it pains me to even think about what the family must be going through.

Many, many years ago, one of my sixth grade classmates accidentally shot his 5th grade brother in the back with a 20 gauge while rabbit hunting. The older brother was walking up a bank right behind his kid brother and somehow his shotgun discharged, killing his kid brother instantly. Never will forget that.

Prayers sent. That's some scary shite.

Probably the wrong forum for this, but I always keep my gun loaded when picking dekes. Call it superstition, but the ducks always come in when you're picking up. I like to stay ready...safely of course.

We are very close friends with the family. He is out of surgery but in iCU. It is too early to know how this will end up. Please continue to pray for him and his family.

Heard about this when I got to the camp this afternoon. My cousin and uncle live less than a mile from the incident and heard them shooting this morning. Prayers to the family. I can hardly imagine

Yes. They are a good family. We saw him and his brother last night at the Livonia football game. My wife is much closer with them than I am and has been on the phone with his family since we found out. It's a very sad situation.
