Power tool board?

I have used their demolition hammers with good results. A rep sold me on the 18 volt lithium kit with the hammerdrill, impact driver, circ and recip saw. I had been using the dewalt 20v max set, but find the drill and circ saw lacking in power.

Anyone have experience with Hilti's new 18 volt lithium line? Worth the $900?

Hilti has always made great tools. The family business was General Contractor. I have many Hilti tools, all have been good. Even though im not active in construction anymore I will be on the look out for this set.

Milwaukee 18V-4-piece kit
Milwaukee 6-piece kit
Milwaukee 9-piece kit

I would recommend getting the 4 or 6-piece kit with a 28V impact.

I have a Makita kit, and have been impressed with it, but have also used the Milwaukee stuff without a hitch. Milwaukee has a good reputation for making solid tools

Hilti is really only good for their hammerdrills

I was asking for opinions from people with experience using Hilti's new 18 volt lithium ion power tools. Not looking for a Ford/Chevy type discussion.

Have you used Hilti's new lithium line? If so, what are your impressions?

They are known for their corded drills/hammers.
I don't think their corded stuff is worth $300 more than makita, dewalt, or Milwaukee. I can hook you up if you decide to go a different direction besides hilti

Never used them, and haven't ever seen anyone using them. They have been out for a while, and I suspect if they were the bees knees, more people would be using them

As I said, I already went a different direction about 6 mos ago and that's why I'm having this discussion.

However, what kind of "hook up" are you talking?
