Yeah, they went away when the New Haven plant was closed down a few years ago.

Model 70 went away too but was revived by FN and is being built in Columbia, SC.

browning makes a damn nice lever action .22 too. Or they did last time I checked.

I'm not knocking Henrys because I'm sure the Golden boys are much better fit and finish than mine, but I don't really care much for my Henry.

With that said, it still ain't for sale.

Maybe we'll have a "post your .22s" thread one day. Of course JAB or KR will have to post my pics.

Agree. The lever throw on the Brownings is so short all it takes is basically a quick flick of the fingers to cycle the action.

Henry makes some extremely fine rifles like the golden boy and big boy.

They also make some cheap rifles.

I am a huge fan of henry rifles.

Sounds like I need to add one of the higher end Henrys to my list.

The high end henry rifles are incredibly nice. The actions are slick as owl shite.

They are heavy though. Uberti makes some very fine replicas of the old henry rifles.

One thing you KNOW when you get a henry is that you get a rifle 100% made in america by a company that stands for american values.

One thing that should be on every man's wish list is the uberti replica of the henry repeater.

Such an incredibly fine rifle
